How 7-Point Inspection Works Before Export
Every vehicle exported by Cargration undergoes a rigorous 7-point inspection before it is listed for sale. Here is exactly what each checkpoint covers:
1. Engine & Drivetrain: Compression test, fluid levels, belt and hose condition, starter and alternator function, engine noise evaluation, and transmission shift quality (both auto and manual).
2. Brakes & Suspension: Pad and rotor thickness measurement, brake line integrity check, shock absorber condition, ball joint and bushing wear assessment.
3. Electronics & Electrical: Battery load test, alternator output verification, lighting system function (headlights, taillights, turn signals), infotainment system operation, sensor reading verification.
4. Body & Paint: Panel gap consistency measurement, rust and corrosion inspection, paint thickness readings (to identify respray or accident repair), glass integrity check.
5. Interior & Features: Seat and upholstery condition, climate control function, power window and lock operation, odometer reading verification against service records.
6. Undercarriage & Frame: Frame straightness verification, exhaust system condition, fuel and brake line condition, underbody rust and corrosion assessment.
7. Road Test: 15-minute on-road evaluation covering acceleration, braking, steering response, transmission shift quality, suspension noise, and highway-speed stability.
A full inspection report is provided to each buyer prior to purchase. For an additional fee, Cargration also arranges third-party inspection through independent verification services.
